THE PROBLEM
Cameras that only show you the loss after the fact.
Almost every store has cameras, but nobody watches them in real time. Theft only shows up later, in the inventory count or on the recording, when the product is long gone.
01
Nobody watches the screens
Staff are busy at the register, restocking shelves and helping customers. The cameras record, but nobody sees what happens.
02
Losses that eat into margins
In Brazilian food retail, losses run around 2.4% of sales, while many stores net only 2% to 4%.
03
False alarms are costly
Confronting an innocent shopper means embarrassment and lawsuits. A system that alerts on every movement teaches staff to ignore it.
HOW IT WORKS
Three steps. No new cameras.
Percept is an intelligence layer on top of the camera system you already use.
01 · CONNECT
Uses the cameras you already have
We connect Percept to the store’s video recorder (DVR or NVR). No installation work, no new equipment, nothing installed in the store.
02 · ANALYZE
Analyzes behavior in real time
The AI spots when someone hides a product in a bag, a pocket or under their clothes. It works from day one, with no training period.
03 · ALERT
Alerts with the video, in time to act
Every suspected theft gets a second check by the AI. Only then does your staff get the alert with the video clip, before the person leaves the store.
THE PRODUCT
Less time watching screens. More time acting.
Every alert comes with the video clip, the camera and the time. On the dashboard, managers see every incident, the most targeted products, and where and when theft happens.

The video with every alert
Staff confirm what happened in seconds, before approaching anyone.
Incident dashboard
Most targeted products, peak times and high-risk aisles, so you can adjust staffing and store layout.
On your staff’s phones
Push alerts in the Percept app. In unattended mini-markets, the alert goes straight to the monitoring center.
WHY PERCEPT
Percept doesn’t sell cameras. It makes yours smarter.
Fewer alerts, all reliable
We’d rather send fewer alerts and get them right. Tested on 100 videos of normal shopping, Percept raised zero false alerts.
Works from day one
The AI doesn’t need to be trained for each store. Once it’s connected, it’s already analyzing.
Uses what you already have
Runs on your existing cameras and recorder. Nothing is installed in the store.
Shows what it saw
Every alert comes with the video clip. No black box: staff check before approaching anyone.

WHO IT’S FOR
Built for Brazilian retail.
For retailers who need to cut losses without treating shoppers as suspects.

Pharmacies
Skincare and other high-value items need constant attention. Percept watches those aisles around the clock.

Supermarkets
Beverages, meat and toiletries: Percept alerts you when a product disappears into a bag, without embarrassing shoppers.

Unattended mini-markets
With no staff on site, the alert goes to the monitoring center, which collects payment through the building’s management.
PRICING
Simple pricing, per camera.
You only pay for the cameras Percept analyzes. No equipment to buy and no installation work in the store.
PER CAMERA · PER MONTH
R$ 59.90≈ US$12
Example: a store with 5 cameras pays R$ 299.50 a month (about US$60).

PRIVACY
Behaviors, not people.
Percept recognizes gestures, like hiding a product in a bag. It doesn’t recognize faces or know who anyone is: it describes what happened, where and when.
No facial recognition.
Alerts describe what happened, never who.
We only store the video clips of alerts, encrypted.
All other footage is analyzed in real time and never stored by us.
Built with Brazil’s data protection law (LGPD) in mind.
Do I need to replace my cameras?
No. Percept connects to the store’s recorder (DVR or NVR) and uses the cameras already installed. Nothing is installed in the store.
How long does it take to get started?
Percept works from day one: the AI doesn’t need to be trained for each store. Getting started only takes connecting to the recorder.
How do I receive alerts?
Through push notifications in the Percept app on your staff’s phones, and on the web dashboard. Every alert includes the video clip. In unattended mini-markets, the alert goes to the operator’s monitoring center.
What if the AI gets it wrong?
We prioritize precision: we’d rather send fewer alerts and get them right. And every alert includes the video, so staff can confirm before approaching anyone.
What about shoppers’ privacy?
Percept doesn’t use facial recognition or identify people. We only store the video clips of alerts, encrypted.
How much does it cost?
R$ 59.90 (about US$12) per camera, per month. A store with 5 cameras pays R$ 299.50 a month.
Does Percept do more than catch shoplifting?
Soon, the same cameras will flag operational losses, like products expiring on the shelf because of poor restocking.
